The Gamma Upsilon chapter of Kappa Psi Pharmaceutical Fraternity was chartered on March 20, 1950 at The Univeristy of Arizona College of Pharmacy. The University of Arizona Colleg of Pharmacy is located in the unique desert city of Tucson, AZ and is consistently ranked as one of the Top 10 Pharmacy Schools in the nation.

Gamma Upsilon is a member of the Pacific West Province (formerly Province IX). The chapter has won several awards since its chartering, including the William R. Smith Most Improved Chapter in 2010, and the Pacific West Province Fellowhood and Brothership Award in Spring 2013.
